Upon entering our office, our receptionist will welcome you as a member of our family. We will request that you complete our patient forms located in the New Patient Center. This paperwork provides us with your health history and information on your condition.

Next, you will have a consultation with Dr. Amir Rashidian to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential treatment options. This initial visit is designed for Dr. Amir Rashidian to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine how chiropractic care can meet your goals.

CLA’s comprehensive INSiGHT™ scanning technologies has been certified by the Space Foundation to prove a reliable, scientifically valid, quantitative and multidimensional representation of patient well-being. Space Foundation Chiropractors can now analyze a patient’s condition more accurately, communicate findings more effectively – while allowing both the doctor and patient to track the effectiveness of treatment. The INSiGHT™ system also produces a detailed chiropractic report of findings that patients can use as a building block to map their progress as they pursue a healthy lifestyle. After your consultation, Dr. Amir Rashidian will perform a complete chiropractic examination testing your reflexes and flexibility. Other standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests will be performed as well. However, nothing will be done in our office without your consent.

X-Ray Studies

X-Ray Studies

Depending on your specific condition, we may take X-rays as well. X-rays help us develop the most effective treatment plan for you, and alert us of any serious spinal conditions. Most people are amazed once they see their X-rays up close. In some cases, they can even identify their misalignments and degeneration themselves.

In 2020, with tremendous pride and excitement, we announced that Mid Atlantic Chiropractic Center was expanding to better serve the health needs of our growing community. In August of 2020, our new state-of-the-art office was officially opened to the Frederick community. This office is located at 2480C Osprey Way South in the beautiful Market Square shopping center, directly across from the One Life Fitness gym.

MACC was established in 2006 by Dr. Amir Rashidian. Now he, and his world-class team, are consistently bringing the same amazing care that has made MACC a leader in the healthcare profession and the choice of thousands in the greater Frederick community. The Mid Atlantic Clinic of Chiropractic continuously strives to provide its customers with holistic chiropractic wellness. This includes posture correction and chiropractor treatment for migraines, back pain, sciatica, and pediatric chiropractic.

Our services have been carefully designed to incorporate state-of-the-art techniques and newer methods to provide safe and effective results. Taking a personalized approach to each client, we work with a set of “blueprint” techniques that are modified on a case-to-case basis. This strategy ensures patients benefit from tried and tested treatment methods while targeting their unique needs.  Since every condition impacts patients differently, our highly versatile approach provides consistent results across clientele and the severity of symptoms.

Here is a brief description of all the services offered at Mid Atlantic Clinic of Chiropractic:

Chiropractic Care:

This includes advanced spinal corrective treatment to address a range of issues, including leg pain, back pain, and spine misalignment. Our chiropractic care utilizes special manipulative therapy techniques that can help increase the range of motion, promote balance, realign the spine, and reduce inflammation. Chiropractic care can be beneficial for pregnant women suffering from back pain. It can also help athletes and veterans with injury rehabilitation.

Corrective Exercises and Spinal Rehabilitation Program:

Depending on their needs and requirements, clients may be assigned different techniques and exercises for faster recovery. However, corrective exercises and techniques are commonly used for spine rehabilitation and other back-related conditions. With over 30-40% correction rate, these exercises are easy to follow and can be conveniently carried out in the comfort of your home. In addition to spinal rehabilitation, these exercises are designed to help with muscle and connective tissue misalignment.

Cox Flexion Distraction:

Cox Flexion Distraction is a popular manipulative technique effective for chiropractic treatments. This hands-on spinal manipulation technique relieves back, neck and leg pain and severe spinal conditions. The Cox Flexion Distraction technique decompresses the spine through gentle stretching or applying traction to the lower spine. It is a non-surgical treatment that can also restore the range of motion in the joints and muscles, promoting flexibility and better posture.

Lifestyle Advice:

In addition to corrective and manipulative techniques for back relief, our chiropractic clinic also provides lifestyle coaching. Patients are informed and guided on avoiding specific activities that may make their symptoms worse. The service ensures patients can lead happy and fulfilling life without compromising their quality of living.

Nutritional Counseling:

Nutritional counseling services provide individualized dietary plans catering to patients' nutritional needs. This includes everything from a strictly structured diet for optimal recovery to prescription supplements to combat deficiencies.

Spinal & Postural Screenings:

Several reasons may contribute to posture and spinal issues. For effective results, we utilize screenings to reveal the overall functioning of muscles in alignment with the bones. This can help identify root problems and provides an indication of the overall condition of your spine.

Foot Levelers:

In cases where postural problems are caused due to a misaligned spine or pelvis, we also provide custom-made functional orthotics to correct imbalances in the feet. Unlike over-the-counter foot levels, our orthotics are designed to promote whole-body wellness.
