And while chiropractic care is very effective in treating and even preventing these conditions, it can be used to treat a far wider array of issues, including: allergies asthma vertigo and dizziness gastrointestinal and digestive disorders respiratory issues depression and anxiety immunity issues high blood pressure hormonal issues Nutritional support and other treatment modalities can be customized for each patient, helping patients of all ages avoid the need for medication and other more aggressive treatment options by promoting natural healing responses.
Are spinal adjustments safe?
Yes, spinal adjustments are based on an in-depth understanding of the spine and related anatomy and use a specific sequence of motions and applied force to gently coax the spine into its proper alignment. The techniques used in chiropractic spinal adjustments are designed to focus on the spine bones and joints while leaving surrounding tissues unharmed. Routine adjustments can help keep the spine properly aligned so pain and other symptoms can be avoided.
Do chiropractors provide well care and preventive care?
Yes, in addition to providing treatments aimed at correcting acute issues like pain and other symptoms, chiropractic care can be very effective in promoting better immunity and helping patients stay healthy. Plus, routine adjustments and related care can help patients avoid injuries and enjoy better athletic performance and improved physical activity.

Esther: Before I came into the chiropractor to get aligned and adjustments and get my life on track, I could not go up and down the steps without going sideways and one step at a time. Now, I can go up and down the steps normal. I do hold onto the handrail, but it’s normal and I haven’t done that for years and I’m really excited about that.
Interviewer: Good. I’m so glad to hear.
Esther: So that’s just one of the big changes.
Interviewer: Well, that’s great. Any other changes you’d like to talk about?
Esther: Yeah, there’s a lot of pain in my lower back that is slowly subsiding and down the right buttocks, down the whole leg, the sciatic nerve on the right side. It’s getting to the point where I have very little pain and it’s getting duller all the time. And I’m just feeling all over really great compared to what I did when I first came in here in November and I’m thankful.
Interviewer: Good. I’m really glad to hear that, and thank you for taking the time out to talk with us today.
Esther: You’re welcome.
Well, I started chiropractic care because I was having pains in my arms and hands, wasn’t able to lift anything, grasp anything, and it was very, very painful. I couldn’t do everyday things. Since I’ve been coming to Dr. Rashidian, my mobility has been restored. I can lift things. I can do normal things without even thinking. So, I’m feeling a 110% better than when I started, and I would recommend to anyone who wants to feel better in your life, to do the normal things you normally do, come see Dr. Rashidian.
Interviewer: So, Miss Teresa, what was it that made you want to start coming to get adjusted?
Teresa: Well, I was at hot mess actually. I had a lot of problems. My hip was in pain for a year, and I couldn’t walk up and down stairs or get in and out of my car or roll over in bed without it hurting and without literally picking up my leg and lifting it. So, that was a big thing. And I had a stiff neck, bad range of motion, and knee problems.
Interviewer: Wow, and how have you been feeling since you’ve been getting adjusted?
Teresa: I was so shocked that literally, within two weeks all three of those problems were almost completely resolved.
Interviewer: Wow.
Teresa: My hip problem was a yearlong problem, and it was gone in two weeks.
Interviewer: Wow that’s so cool.
Teresa: I know.
Interviewer: What would you say to someone who’s thinking about getting adjusted?
Teresa: I would say absolutely do it. I had no idea that you could get resolutions so quickly and almost so completely, so fast.
Interviewer: Thank you so much.
