First Visit

We stand on the principle that the healing of the body starts from the inside out and we’re not musculoskeletal specialists. We’re health specialists. We want to take a human body no matter what the symptoms are, we want to take that human body and improve its structure and the function of the nervous system so that the entire body can be healthy.

When you first come to see us, when you first come in to us as a patient, we’ll sit with you and we’ll talk to you. We’ll sit and talk to you, why? Because I want to know what’s going on in your life, because it matters what’s happened to you from when you were born until today. What illnesses have you had? What trauma have you had? What stresses have you had? How’s your life been? What medication are you on? What are you battling with? What are your symptoms? Those all matter to me. I want to know. Then we start to examine you and the examination is very, very thorough because, symptoms aside, the human body has a certain functionality that it has to achieve. Does that make sense? It has to do certain things and it’s the same for me, and it’s the same for you, and it’s the same for you. The structure of your spine has to be a certain way. The nerves have to fire in different directions a certain way. That doesn’t matter whether you have migraine head aches or acid reflux. Whether you have neck pain or numbness in your foot. The important thing is that the nervous system is functioning the way it should and so that evaluation is going to tell me what’s going on in your spine.

We’re going to do orthopedic, neurologic test, we’re going to do a physical exam. We’re going to check your blood pressure and heart rate, and we’re going to do a scan, a computerized scan of your nerve system. We’re going to find out if the nerves are working properly. If there’s nerve interference, we can detect it and we can predict what’s going to happen if we don’t fix it. Then we’ll take films because x-rays tell us structure, the nerve scan will tell you function, the x-rays will tell us the structure, if there are abnormalities in the structure of your spine, we’ll know how to fix it. I’ll tell how to fix it and how long it’s going to take to fix it. So that’s your first visit with us.
